Markets

The US edition today. Other markets next.

Everything on Stackable right now, every rate, card offer, and card credit, applies to shoppers paying with US-issued cards. That isn't a limitation we're hiding; it's how the numbers work. A cashback portal pays different rates on different country sites (Rakuten.com and Rakuten.ca are different businesses), Amex Offers are a separate program in every country, and most European markets don't have Rakuten at all. A page that averaged across markets would be wrong everywhere.

If you're outside the US with a US-issued card, the site works for you as written. If your cards were issued elsewhere, pick your market below and we'll email you once when its edition goes live. Nothing else, and the list is how we decide what to build first.

CanadaComing
Portals: Rakuten.ca, Great Canadian Rebates
Card offers: Amex Offers (Canada), RBC Offers, Scotia

Different Rakuten site, different rates, and Amex Canada runs its own Offers program.

United KingdomComing
Portals: TopCashback UK, Quidco
Card offers: Amex Offers (UK), Barclaycard, Monzo

No Rakuten. TopCashback and Quidco carry most premium retailers, and Amex UK Offers are strong.

NetherlandsComing
Portals: Shopbuddies, Cashbackkorting
Card offers: Amex Offers (Netherlands)

Smaller portal market; card-linked offers matter more than cashback.

GermanyComing
Portals: Shoop, TopCashback DE, iGraal
Card offers: Amex Offers (Germany)

Shoop is the Rakuten equivalent, with a very different premium-brand roster.

FranceComing
Portals: iGraal, Poulpeo, eBuyClub
Card offers: Amex Offers (France)

iGraal leads. Luxury houses pay more on French portals than they do in the US.

SpainComing
Portals: Beruby, Aklamio, iGraal
Card offers: Amex Offers (Spain)

Portal coverage of premium brands is thin; timing and outlet strategy will do more of the work.

What changes from market to market

The portal. Rakuten runs separate sites for the US and Canada with separate merchant rosters and rates. The UK's big two are TopCashback and Quidco; Germany has Shoop; France has iGraal. The same retailer can pay 10% on one country's portal and nothing on another's. Our rule of reading the rate from the portal's store page for the retailer's own domain still applies, but the store page is a different page in each country.

The card offers. Amex Offers exist in Canada, the UK, and much of Europe, but they're separate programs with separate merchants and terms, and the Chase, Citi, Bank of America, and Capital One offer programs are US-only. Card credits (the Platinum's lululemon credit, the Reserve's travel credit) are attached to the US versions of those cards; the Canadian and UK Platinum cards carry different credits.

The referral bonuses. Rakuten's $50 welcome bonus is for Rakuten.com. Rakuten.ca and the European portals run their own, usually smaller, and our referral links only work for the US programs.

The retailers. Most brands on this site sell in every market, but their sale calendars, return windows, and outlet strategies differ, and some (Bergdorf Goodman, Bluemercury) don't ship outside the US at all.

How an edition launches

Each market gets its own set of pages under its own path (for example /ca/retailers/tumi), with the same structure as the US pages: the verified rate on that market's portal, that market's card offers, and a buy-or-wait call. The US pages stay exactly where they are. We won't redirect anyone by location; the edition you're reading is the one in the address bar, and the switcher in the header will list only the markets that actually exist.

Order is decided by the lists above. If you want a market sooner, sign up for it and forward the page to someone who'd use it. Questions, corrections, or a portal we've mislabeled for your country: hello@stackable.deals.
