Terms of use

Plain-language terms for using this site. Reading Stackable means you accept them. Last updated September 15, 2026.

The short version
We verify every rate on the date shown and tell you when we couldn't. Rates, offers, and terms are set by other companies and change without notice, so confirm on the portal or issuer's page before you buy. We are a publication, not a financial advisor or a party to your purchase.

What Stackable is

Stackable (https://stackable.deals) is an independent editorial publication about how to buy from premium retailers for less: cashback portal rates, credit card offers and credits, promo codes, loyalty programs, and timing. It is written and maintained by Paxton Pennington. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any retailer, cashback portal, card issuer, or bank named on the site. Brand names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Accuracy, and its limits

Every retailer page shows a "Last verified" date. On that date we read the rate on the portal's store page for the retailer's own domain, the offer terms on the issuer's site, and the retailer's own policies, and we wrote down what we saw. Where we could not confirm something, the page says so.

Those numbers belong to other companies and change constantly. A portal can drop a rate an hour after we check it; a card offer can vanish before its printed expiry; a store can change its return policy. We update weekly and correct material errors within 24 hours of learning about them (see the methodology), but we cannot promise that any figure is still current when you read it. Before you spend money, confirm the rate on the portal, the offer in your card's Offers tab, and the price at checkout. If a page here disagrees with the portal or issuer's own page, theirs is right and we would like to hear about it at corrections@stackable.deals.

Not financial, tax, or legal advice

Nothing on this site is personalized financial advice. Point valuations, "worth it" calls, and buy-or-wait verdicts are editorial opinions based on public information and our own math, offered to a general reader. Whether a credit card, a purchase, or a points strategy is right for you depends on your circumstances, which we don't know. Credit card applications affect your credit; annual fees are real money; rebates and bonuses may have tax consequences in your situation. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to you.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links pay us a commission or referral bonus. The affiliate disclosure explains which ones and how we keep that from influencing recommendations. Using an affiliate link never changes the price you pay or the cashback you receive. A cashback portal and one of our affiliate links cannot both be paid on the same purchase; the portal wins, and that is fine with us.

Your purchases are between you and the seller

We are not a party to any transaction you make after leaving this site. Orders, shipping, returns, warranty claims, cashback tracking, missing-cashback claims, and card offer credits are all handled by the company you dealt with, under its terms. We cannot intervene in a dispute with a retailer, portal, or issuer, though we're glad to point you to the right process.

Using the content

The text, tables, verdicts, and design of this site are copyright Paxton Pennington. You are welcome to read, link to, quote briefly with attribution, and share pages. You may not republish pages or substantial parts of them, scrape the site to build a competing product, or present our verification work as your own. Automated crawling for search indexing is fine; bulk copying is not.

Email

If you subscribe to alerts, you can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. How we handle your address is in the privacy policy.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including a cashback rate that changed, an offer that didn't post, a purchase you regret, or a card you applied for. If some part of this can't be disclaimed where you live, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
