Bergdorf Goodman is the two-store Fifth Avenue institution (women’s on one side of 58th Street, men’s on the other) that Neiman Marcus bought in 1972 and that now sits inside Exemplar Luxury Group alongside Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Online, Bergdorf and Neiman share a large slice of designer inventory, the same credit card, the same InCircle loyalty program, and cross-redeemable gift cards.

We found no Amex Offer or Chase Offer for Bergdorf Goodman in 2025 or 2026. Neiman Marcus has had one (spend $250, get $50, fall 2025), and Bergdorf has not. A Bank of America 3% click-through offer ran in early 2026 and has expired.

Bergdorf codes as a department store, so no premium travel card earns a category bonus here. The card that matters is the store card.

None of those are listed on Rakuten, and Rakuten’s terms are explicit that unlisted codes void cashback. Community reports back this up with real denials. So each purchase is a choice:

• Full-price piece during the 15% window: take the portal, skip the code. On $1,500, that’s $225 back.
• Gift-card event with a $1,250 ladder: take the code, skip the portal. A ladder that returns $1,250 on a large order beats 15% by a wide margin.
• Small order under $500: run the numbers. A 15% signup code and a 15% portal rate are the same money, and the code is instant.
